Job summary
The role’s primary duty is to manage the UCAS applications, with focus on home students, with the aim of contributing to achieve the School’s targets.
The Admissions Officer will also manage on a daily basis orientation and admission processes of prospective and enrolled home students and international students when required. The jobholder will handle requests from online and offline channels, applying the required procedures, in order to optimise the effectiveness of the information and orientation process, up to enrollment.
The incumbent will also support marketing activities, mainly in London, such as presentations to schools, open days, recruitment fairs, together with supporting any company events. Finally, they will be in regular contact with the finance office with the aim of verifying the payment status of enrolled students and will cooperate with the other departments as needed.
Key purpose of the role
To provide students with information and advice on the courses’ available at Istituto Marangoni London on a daily basis;
To assess and process students’ applications via UCAS and other channels;
To ensure that applications are processes in a timely manner;
To promptly report and escalate complicated cases to the line Manager;
To issue CAS’ (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies);
To support the end-to-end Admissions and administration process;
To transmit enrollment data to the validating partner in a timely manner;
To ensure that the correct procedures are followed when processing applications, paying particular attention to international students’ application requiring a Visa;
To support students throughout the whole application process and to respond to applicants’ queries in a timely manner;
To support the team with weekly reports preparation;
To manage the orientation requests, by email, video call or in person;
To support activities such as open days, fairs and presentations to Schools;
To closely collaborate with Programme Leaders during the admission process;
To keep all the platforms used updated;
To achieve own targets and monitoring own performance;
To work flexibly and support the department by undertaking appropriate duties as required.
